Overview
Through the product engineering process there is a tendency to make design decisions which have an impact on product cost without fully understanding the connection to customer value, and ultimately to wholesale price. Ensira Consultants analysed the existing process within the client to understand how cost and value were evaluated, recommended and supported the implementation of a new process to more closely link product evolution to the assessment of customer value to enable appropriate trade-offs to be made.
